Judith Ordoñez-Rudel is the founder and heart behind Nurtured Play Studio. With a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and a background in early childhood education, Judith brings a unique blend of academic expertise and real-world experience to her work with children, families, and caregivers.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, Judith is passionate about nurturing secure caregiver-child connections and creating safe, playful spaces for emotional healing. Her approach is deeply rooted in multicultural awareness and attachment-based practices. A proud product of a bilingual, bicultural upbringing, Judith provides therapy in both English and Spanish, ensuring families feel fully seen and supported.

Judith’s leadership at Nurtured Play Studio extends beyond the therapy room. She actively builds community through initiatives like the Nurtured Neighbors Scholarship and the Nurtured Neighbors Scholarship Therapist Referral Network, increasing access to services for families in need. Her work reflects her belief that healing grows best in safe, supported, and culturally responsive environments.
