At Nurtured Play Studio, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive — no matter their circumstances. The Nurtured Neighbors Scholarship provides full or partial financial assistance to children and teens who would benefit from therapy but may not otherwise have access to it.

This fund is rooted in the idea that when we care for our neighbors, we all grow stronger together.

Who Can Apply or Be Nominated?

We welcome applications and nominations for:

• Children and teens ages 3–18

• Families living in the local area experiencing financial hardship

• Youth who could benefit from play-based, attachment-focused, or trauma-informed therapy

• Individuals who are committed to regular participation in therapy sessions

You may apply for your own child, or nominate a child or family you know who may benefit.

What the Scholarship Covers

• Routine therapy sessions (virtual or in-person, depending on provider availability)

• Services from licensed mental health professionals

• Full or partial coverage, based on financial need and availability of funds

• A supportive intake process designed to match families with the right therapeutic fit

How to Apply or Nominate

1. Complete the short application form

2. Share basic details about the child, family needs, and why this support would make a difference

3. We will review applications on a rolling basis and contact eligible families to begin the intake process

Note: All information is kept confidential and reviewed with care. Funds are limited and awarded based on need, availability, and alignment with our services.
